Ms. Lisa P. Smith, a member of the Senior Executive Service, is the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Product Support and serves as the principal advisor to the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) leadership on policies, procedures, and actions related to the readiness and sustainability of major weapon systems. She is responsible for the development and implementation of acquisition and sustainment strategies and processes providing the Warfighter with cost-effective weapon system readiness across the life cycle. In addition, Ms. Smith coordinates and synchronizes ASD(S) international and partner engagements. She also manages the logistics and acquisition workforce for the Department of Defense. Mobilization Assistant to the Director of Logistics, Civil Engineering, Force Protection and Nuclear Integration, Headquarters Air Force Materiel CommandBrigadier General Kelvin D. McElroy is the Mobilization Assistant to the Director of Logistics, Civil Engineering, Force Protection and Nuclear Integration, Headquarters Air Force Materiel Command, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. He directs policy and procedures for field and depot- level aircraft and commodities maintenance, nuclear weapon systems sustainment, software engineering, conventional munitions, logistics plans, transportation, supply chain operations and management, civil engineering, force protection and logistics information technology activities. As the lead command integrator for life cycle sustainment, he plans and coordinates product support and acquisition logistics across the Air Force weapon systems portfolio.

Deputy Director, Logistics Operations (J3), Defense Logistics AgencyKristin K. French is the Deputy Director of Logistics Operations (J3) at the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), a $42B combat logistics support agency. She is responsible for the end-to-end supply chain management of DLA’s nine supply chains, providing logistics and materiel process management policy, guidance, oversight and monitoring of supply chain performance. She assumed this position in March 2021.
Prior to her current position, Ms French served as DLA’s Chief of Staff. As CoS, she led all HQs operations and directly supported six Major Subordinate Commands’ actions in strategic planning, enterprise integration, organizational governance, strategic communications, legislative affairs, small business programs, equal opportunity and installation management. She supported eleven major DLA installations worldwide, to include 27 distribution depots, 100 disposition facilities and 642 Defense Fuel Supply Points.

Director, Logistics and Technical Support Directorate, CECOMMr. Abel Salgado serves as the Director of the Logistics and Technical
Support Directorate for the Integrated Logistics Support Center in the
Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM). He leads over 200
employees responsible for a myriad of logistics functions in the areas of
Industrial Base support, Configuration Management and Data Integrity,
Technical Publications, Maintenance, and Provisioning support activities.
Prior to this assignment, he served as Chief, Materiel Management
Division, overseeing contingency, supply, and stock readiness support.
Mr. Salgado joined CECOM in 2009 as the Command Traffic Manager,
directing CECOM global transportation support activities.ImageMs. Kim M. Brown
Deputy Director of Logistics, Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics, Engineering, and Force Protection, USAFKim M. Brown, a member of the Senior Executive Service, serves as
the Deputy Director of Logistics, Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics,
Engineering, and Force Protection, Headquarters U.S. Air Force,
Arlington, Virginia. She is responsible for supporting the Director of
Logistics by providing executive leadership and direction for
organizing, training, and equipping more than 201,000 logisticians
who maintain and support mission generation and the aerospace
weapons system inventory. Ms. Brown assists with providing
strategic guidance for materiel management, fuels, vehicle
operations and management, deployment and distribution, personal
property, traffic management and logistics plans. The directorate
develops policy and oversees force development for logistics
readiness, maintenance and munitions, ensuring the readiness of
the single largest element of manpower supporting Air Force combat
forces globally.
