NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support International Programs provides support to more than 80 countries around the world. The team delivers program and logistics support capabilities to our International Partners for weapon systems in order to sustain mission ready forces through the management and execution of U.S. Navy International Programs.
The presentation will cover some of the basic of Security Assistance and Security Cooperation support that NAVSUP WSS provides to the allied warfighter. The brief will focus on how the Foreign Military Sales (FMS), a Security Assistance program serves as the supply chain integrator for international partners to increase their capacity, proficiency and interoperability and assumes no prior knowledge.
It will follow with a question and answer session.
This is the fourth in a series of webinars hosted by U.S. Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support. The series is intended to inform federal acquisition, technology, and logistics professionals with a variety of relevant topics on which NAVSUP WSS personnel can provide expert knowledge. The series will be held quarterly on the second Tuesday of the month at 11 a.m.

Captain Dan Norton, Supply Corps, Navy Director for International Programs NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (WSS)
Captain Daniel L. Norton is a native of Sauk Centre, Minnesota. He started his enlisted Naval service in 1984 and quickly climbed to the rank of Chief Petty Officer. He received his commission in 1995 upon graduation from the Officer Candidate School in Pensacola, Florida. Reported to USS TARAWA (LHA-1) where he served as the Stock Control Officer from 1996-1999. He later served as the Supply Officer onboard USS Stethem (DDG-63) from 2002-2004. He also served onboard USS Ramsey (FFG-2) and USS Holland (AS-32).
Dave Manchin, Deputy Director, International Programs, Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support
Mr. Dave Manchin currently serves as the Deputy Director (N52A) of International Programs at the Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) in Philadelphia, Pa. In this position, Dave oversees the support of international operators of United States Navy platforms and weapon systems. He leads program and product support in deliverance of the NAVSUP WSS role as the Program Support Inventory Control Point (PSICP), SYSCOM Security Cooperation Office (SSCO), and International Logistics Control Office (ILCO).
