    Description: 

    Join us to learn about the Navy Price Fighters, a division of NAVSUP WSS, and how they can help you achieve cost avoidance in contracting. The Navy Price Fighters division is a diverse team of acquisition professionals who perform contract proposal evaluations, cost and price analyses, should cost analysis, technical assistance, and other acquisition support to buying agencies across DoD and Civilian Federal Agencies. Current agencies they support include: Army, Air Force, Navy, NASA and more. 


    The presentation will include an overview of the Navy Price Fighters and tips on evaluating your contract proposals. A Q&A will follow the presentation. This presentation assumes no prior knowledge. 


    This is part of a series of webinars hosted by U.S. Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support. The series is intended to inform federal acquisition, technology, and logistics professionals with a variety of relevant topics on which NAVSUP WSS personnel can provide expert knowledge.  The series are held quarterly on the second Tuesday of the month at 11 a.m.

    Mr. Nick Cuffe, Navy Price Fighters 

    Mr. Nick Cuffe is a Senior Operations Research Analyst with the Navy Price Fighters, a division of NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) in Norfolk, Virginia.  Mr. Cuffe has served as the lead for Navy Price Fighters support to several defense acquisition agencies. Currently, Mr. Cuffe provides support to the Director, Price, Cost and Finance for the office of Defense Pricing and Contracting (DPC) by assisting with sole-source peer reviews, providing pricing training, and providing business and negotiation advice and support to major defense acquisition teams across the Department of Defense.  Mr. Cuffe also serves as a subject matter expert in commercial acquisition, pricing variable quantities, and cost modeling. He has over fifteen years of experience in proposal evaluation, cost/price analysis, should-cost analysis, major weapon system negotiations, and learning curves.
