This session of DAU's OTA Today will attempt to shed light on an area not frequently discussed - the mechanical processes contracting personnel undertake in planning, soliciting, awarding, and administering Prototype Other Transactions. Example topics include, but are not limited to, actions taken in a contract writing system, whitepaper/proposal evaluation structure and procedures, providing feedback to unsuccessful prospective Performers, potential agreement structures and business arrangements, and agreement format. Our intent is to provide insights and lessons learned from across the DoD to help the community of OT practitioners benchmark their procedures and hopefully pick up some new tips and tricks to aid them on their OTA journey.
For our discussion, we are pleased to welcome Elizabeth Midkiff representing the Air Force, John Mccabe representing the Army, Renee Stahl representing the Marine Corps, and Katie Matisick representing the Navy.
Attendees are encouraged to submit questions for consideration prior to the event, keeping in mind the concept for the discussion (i.e., contracting procedures, as opposed to statutory interpretation).
The duration of this webinar will be 1.5 hours and we may continue the discussion in a future event, dependent upon community interest, volume of audience interaction, and how far we get through the currently planned list of topics.
