Speaker Bio:  Hello, my name is Patty Queen-Harper. Although I have only been with DAU since Oct 22, I have over 26 years of experience in Contracting as a Military Officer and a Civilian, most of which have been in operational contracting. I also have extensive Contingency Contracting experience as a military officer.

My previous positions include Director of Contracting at Fort Moore (formerly Benning) and Fort Eisenhower (formerly Gordon), providing contracting support for services, supplies and construction to support the soldiers, families, and mission.

 I served as an Executive Business Advisor and Contracting Officer at the U.S. Department of Education, Federal Student Aid, where I awarded and administered complex loan servicing, with a value of over $2 billion, with 10 years period of performances. 

As Deputy Director, Acquisition Division, Region 4, Public Building Service, General Services Administration, I managed an office responsible for awarding contracts for a wide range of real property related services such as construction, architect-engineering, facilities maintenance, utilities, totaling more than $1 billion annually. 

My military assignments include deployments as a Contingency Contracting Officer to Haiti, Bosnia, and the Middle East. I was also assigned as a Contracting Officer awarding and administering classified information technology contracts to support program offices at the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA).

I am DAWIA certified in Contracting, Program Management, and Test and Evaluation. I am also a Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM), National Contract Management Association.
