Mr. Jose Mendez is a Program Manager at the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA)’s Policy and Quality Directorate’s Pricing and Special Project Division (PSP). In his current role, he is responsible for developing audit guidance that addresses DoD acquisition initiatives and other emerging issues.  Mr. Mendez has 15 years of government auditing experience and has held various positions within the DCAA including Supervisory Auditor and performed the duties of Branch Manager.  Mr. Mendez graduated from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico with a bachelor’s degree in accounting.

Ms. Nicole Gan is a Program Manager at the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) DCAA’s Policy and Quality Directorate’s Pricing and Special Projects Division and has served in this capacity since July 2022. She is responsible for developing audit policy for DCAA, including procedures, standards, and guidelines for the conduct of Defective Pricing and Forward Pricing audits. Ms. Gan has 15 years of government auditing experience at DCAA and has held various Supervisor and Technical Specialist positions within DCAA’s Regions and Corporate Audit Directorates. Ms. Gan holds an International Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of South Carolina. She is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of South Carolina. Additionally, she holds a DoD Level III certificate in DAWIA and FM.
