Kelly A Wells
Professor of Quality AssuranceKelly Wells is an Intermittent Professor of Quality Assurance with the College of Contract Management at the Defense Acquisition University (DAU). He is responsible for delivering Quality Assurance curriculum.
Prior to joining the DAU College of Contract Management faculty, Mr. Wells served twenty six years with the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA). While with DCMA he supported major program acquisitions and sustainment efforts for all DoD military services. Mr. Wells served at eight different Contract Management Offices including three OCONUS assignments plus four deployments in support of CCAS missions. With DCMA he held the positions of Quality Assurance Specialist, QA Supervisor, Quality Director and HQ DCMA Senior QA Staff Specialist.
Mr. Wells earned his Bachelor of Science degree from TUI University. Mr. Wells is DAWIA Level III certified in Quality Assurance, Level II certified in Program Management and is a member of the Defense Acquisition Corps. Mr. Wells also holds certifications from the American Society for Quality (ASQ) as Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) and Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE).
