The Tradewind team has found lasting ways to foster advanced tech innovation in a system built to refuse failure and must sacrifice speed for certainty. Bonnie Evangelista, a Senior Procurement Analyst at the Chief Digital and AI Office (CDAO), will highlight the big rocks the Tradewind team is tackling by showcasing a ground breaking contracting pathway, the Solutions Marketplace, and their most promising AI-powered tool, Acqbot. The Marketplace is a digital repository of post-competition, readily awardable pitch videos where Government buyers can shop for solutions to their most pressing problems. Acqbot applies generative AI, natural language processing (NLP), and robotic process automation (RPA) in a practical manner and intuitive workflow to the most painful tasks in government contracting. Bonnie Evangelista, Senior Procurement Analyst for the Chief Digital and AI Office (CDAO)
Bonnie Evangelista is a Senior Procurement Analyst for the Chief Digital and AI Office (CDAO), leading efforts to design and build a rapid acquisition environment to accelerate the pace of digital, analytics, and AI delivery to the Department of Defense. In her previous role, she served as the Deputy Product Lead for Applied Cyber Technologies, leading efforts to provide the infrastructure and environments necessary for defensive cyber innovation and integration.
Bonnie is an experienced acquisition and purchasing professional with expertise gained while supporting Federal Civilian and Department of Defense agencies for 15 years. She is fluent in Federal Government program management, acquisition life-cycle, and cradle to grave contracting but is known as master strategist for rapid acquisition, prototyping, and other transaction authority projects. She has dedicated most of her career to simplifying complex acquisition and contracting processes and transforming conventional procurement models and mind sets.
