    Event Description:


    Have you ever wondered "Why should small businesses want to do business with
    DoD?"  This event celebrates National Small Business Week and kicks-off a
    Summer Small Business Pricing Series which will demystify how to do business
    with the Department of Defense for small businesses already in or seeking to
    enter the Defense Industrial Base.  Ms. Janice Muskopf, Director of Price,
    Cost, and Finance at OSD will provide opening remarks.

    Following Ms. Muskopf, Mr. Joe Greger, DCAA, will discuss an overview of
    DCAA and Accounting Systems Requirements. In addition to May 4 webinar, we
    will offer an additional six webinars between May and August 2022. The
    series will cover several pricing, subcontracting, and auditing training
    topics germane to small businesses.

    Janice Muskopf Director, Price, Cost and Finance, Office of the Principal Director, Defense Pricing and Contracting, Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment

    Ms. Janice Muskopf serves as the Director, Price, Cost and Finance for the office of Defense Pricing and Contracting (DPC), within Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), U.S. Department of Defense (DoD).  She is responsible for contract pricing matters throughout the DoD enterprise, in support of the Department's 30,000 contracting professionals who spend over $300 Billion annually to bring world-class capability to the warfighter.  Ms. Muskopf formulates and oversees complex, DoD-wide pricing, profit, and contract financing policies and strategies supporting major defense acquisitions for the Department.  As DoD's senior advisor for acquisition and procurement negotiation strategies on major defense acquisition programs, she provides business advice and negotiation expertise, partners with the Components to pilot Defense-wide improvements and leverage best practices in pricing and contracting, and fosters opportunities for the DoD workforce to continuously grow its pricing skills.

    Joseph Greger, Small Business Program Manager

    DCAA Audit Liaison Division

    Mr. Greger is the Small Business Program Manager and is located at DCAA Headquarters in Fort Belvoir, Virginia.  In this capacity, he serves as the program manager and audit expert for the small business program with responsibility to provide assistance, consultation and internal control with regard to audit requirements and their application to small business.

    Mr. Greger graduated from California University of Pennsylvania with a Master of Science in Business Administration and a Bachelors in Accounting.  He began his DCAA career as an Auditor at the Herndon Branch Office in Northern Virginia.  He was promoted to Supervisory Auditor then Branch Manager at the Springfield Branch Office.  Mr. Greger has also served in Headquarters as an OWD Program Manager in the Operations Directorate.

    Mr. Greger resides in Alexandria, Virginia.
