    Description:

    Understanding the defense industry and its perspective is key to quality market research and acquisition strategy development, as well as beneficial to successful Government contract negotiation and performance management. Join us for a discussion on business acumen and industry financials.

    Rebecca D.M. Quint, Lead Procurement Analyst/Source Selection Advisor, Acquisition Center of Excellence (ACE), JBSA Lackland, TX

    Rebecca D.M. Quint is a supervisory procurement analyst at the Air Force Installation Contracting Center (AFICC) Acquisition Center of Excellence (ACE) at JBSA Lackland. Ms. Quint supports a team of senior acquisition professionals who act as advisors and coaches to acquisition teams as they embark on competitive processes, including major source selections in accordance with FAR 15.3 as well as those acquisitions under a strategic/enterprise sourcing construct. She is also responsible for strategic initiatives in support of AFICC and Air Force-level Flight Plan goals.

    Ms. Quint entered Air Force service in January of 2003 as a Copper Cap Intern within the contracting career field, completing the intern program in September 2006. Since then, she has served in a variety of contracting positions including serving as a contract specialist, unlimited warrant Contracting Officer, supervisor and section chief, clearance reviewer and ACE advisor. Her experiences include operational and systems program office assignments at Brooks City-Base, TX (prior to base closure), enterprise contracting and staff-level assignments at JBSA Lackland, TX, and a two-year systems contracting assignment with the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) at Maxwell AFB-Gunter Annex, AL. 

    Throughout her career, she has supported a variety of requirements and programs for environmental construction, Architecture and Engineering, large services, agile software development, commodities, Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR), human and IT systems programs and Other Transactions for Prototype.
