Updating Your DAU Student Profile
Within your DAU Virtual Campus profile, you will be able to update your First and/or Last Name by following the guidance below: Login to Virtual Campus. Hover your mouse over the Home tab at the top left and select Universal Profile. Once the page loads, select the red Edit Record button at the bottom right. - The fields for "First Name" and "Last Name" are located at the top. - Make the necessary updates. After you have finished making the updates, select the red Save button. Hover your mouse over the Home tab at the top left and select Welcome to return to the main screen. IMPORTANT: When making profile changes in the Virtual Campus, it can take UP TO 4 HOURS for the changes to take effect in the system. After you update and save this profile information within the DAU Virtual Campus, the changes will be updated in the DAU Identity Management system after 4 hours have passed. If you log out of your account and log back in before the 4 hour timeframe has passed, the profile updates you made in the Virtual Campus "WILL NOT" be sent to your profile in the DAU Identity Management system. If you must make changes to your profile in the Virtual Campus, we recommend you make the changes prior to logging out of your account for the day.

IMPORTANT: When making profile changes in the Virtual Campus, it can take UP TO 4 HOURS for the changes to take effect in the system. Within your DAU Virtual Campus profile, you will be able to update your Username and Primary Email address by following the guidance below: Login to Virtual Campus. Hover your mouse over the Home tab at the top left and select Universal Profile. Once the page loads, select the red Edit Record button at the bottom right. - Locate the "User Name" field and enter the email address you want to use as your "DAU Username". - Locate the "Email Address" field and enter the same email address you listed in the "User Name" field. Reminder: Your DAU Username is your Email address. Therefore, it is imperative that your email address is entered in both fields. Otherwise, you may experience issues during your next login attempt. The DAU Identity Management system will still only acknowledge the email address that’s listed on your profile as the Username. After you have finished making the updates, select the red Save button. Hover your mouse over the Home tab at the top left and select Welcome to return to the main screen. Hover your mouse over the Home tab at the top left and select Universal Profile. Once the page loads, select the red Edit Record button at the bottom right. - Locate the "Supervisor Contact Information" section. - Click on the red > symbol on the right to expand this section. - Make the necessary changes. After you have finished making the updates, select the red Save button. Hover your mouse over the Home tab at the top left and select Welcome to return to the main screen. IMPORTANT: When making profile changes in the Virtual Campus, it can take UP TO 4 HOURS for the changes to take effect in the system. After you update and save this profile information within the DAU Virtual Campus, the changes will be updated in the DAU Identity Management system after 4 hours have passed. Within your DAU Virtual Campus profile, you will be able to update your Supervisor's information by following the guidance below:
Within your DAU Virtual Campus profile, you will be able to update your Organization by following the guidance below: Login to Virtual Campus. Hover your mouse over the Home tab at the top left and select Universal Profile. Once the page loads, select the red Edit Record button at the bottom right. - Locate the "Organization Structure" section. - Locate the box for Organization and then click on the box with the "X". This will clear the field. - Select the same box again and search for your Organization by entering it in the Search box. Select the Search button after entering your Organization. - The results will display on the screen. Select the title associated to your Organization and it will automatically be entered on your profile. - NOTE: If there are no results displayed after you search for your Organization, select the Cancel button. Select the box again by Organization and use the page numbers and arrows at the bottom right to scroll through to see the available organizations. Once you've located your Organization, select the title and it will automatically be entered on your profile. You will not be able to save your profile until an Organization has been selected. After you have finished making the updates, select the red Save button. Hover your mouse over the Home tab at the top left and select Welcome to return to the main screen. If you must make changes to your profile in the Virtual Campus, we recommend you make the changes prior to logging out of your account for the day.
The Training Application Systems used across the components vary and are not managed by DAU. If you require further assistance with updating your profile in that system, please contact your Service's Affiliation Help Desk for further guidance.
**ALERT** You MUST manually update your profile within DAU if you make ANY CHANGES when applying for a DAU Classroom/VILT course.
