reliability
Reliability is a measure of the probability that the system will perform without failure over a specific interval, under specified conditions. Measures include mission and logistics reliability. Mission Reliability is the ability of an item to perform its required function for the duration of a specified mission profile, defined as the probability that the system will not fail to complete the mission, considering all possible redundant modes of operation. Logistics reliability is measure of the ability of an item to operate without placing a demand on the logistics support structure for repair or adjustment, including all failures to the system and maintenance demand as a result of system operations.
