Q: I forgot my password. How do I request a new one?

A: If you have previously logged in with username and password and have access to your email, you may use the self-service feature from the login page to reset your password.

  1. Go to https://id.dau.edu
  2. Enter your Username (your email address). Click "Next".
  3. Select "Password".
  4. Click "Forgot Password".
  5. Select "Send me an email".
  6. Click the verification link in your email to continue. If entering a verification code, you must click the box "Enter a verification code instead" and click "Verify".
  7. You will be prompted to create a new password.

Q: I'm trying to reset my password. I changed organizations and the verification code is going to email address I no longer have access to. What should I do?

A: If you have not FULLY completed the account set up process OR do not have access to your email address on file, you will not be able to use the self-service feature to reset your own password. Submit a request to the DAU Help Desk to obtain your login information so you can complete the account set up process.  Please include the last 4 of your SSN/EIN or your DOD ID number when submitting your request so your account can be validated.
