The Principal Deputy, Assistant Secretary of Defense for Logistics and Materiel Readiness (L&MR), who also served as the Life Cycle Logistics defense acquisition workforce community Functional Leader (FL), earlier this year approved Fiscal Year (FY) 2017 Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certification requirements for the Life Cycle Logistics functional community. There were no changes to either the educational or experience requirements; in addition, the Life Cycle Logistics FY 2016 certification training requirements remain the same as the current requirements for FY 2016.

The Life Cycle Logistics Level I, Level II and Level III core certification standards contained in the DAU iCatalog contain the most current requirements. Hyperlinked graphical representations of both the current FY16 and upcoming FY 17 training requirements are also available on the Life Cycle Logistics Certification Track page on the Logistics Community of Practice (LOG CoP) Professional Development website.
