Three Years After Fire, Cafeteria at DAU Fort Belvoir Campus Is Now Open
Great news for students attending classes at our DAU Fort Belvoir, Virginia campus. Nearly three years after the devastating August 2012 fire in Building 207, restoration of the facility is now complete and the building is once again open for business. In addition to bringing two new state-of-the-art classrooms on line, students and faculty alike will be pleased to know that as of today, the on-campus cafeteria is once again open and available for personnel on campus to purchase breakfast and lunch. Under new management, the newly renovated ‘George’s Café’, which today celebrated its grand opening, is open from 6:30 am – 3:00 pm weekdays.
