CMMC Levels and Associated Sets of Processes and Practices

The CMMC model includes five levels, with each level building upon the requirements of the previous one. Contractors in the DIB can achieve a specific CMMC level based on the security processes and practices they implement. The CMMC program, including the recent CMMC 2.0 updates, aims to safeguard sensitive information, enforce cybersecurity standards, promote collaboration, and maintain public trust in the defense industry.
