Partner Research Publications

The DAU Center for Defense Acquisition Research partners with a number of organizations in government, academia and private industry to collaborate on, and disseminate, timely research. The links below will take you to the websites that feature the research activities performed by our partner organizations.

The Eisenhower School at the National Defense University
The Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Strategy is a senior service school providing graduate level education to senior members of the US armed forces, government civilians, foreign nationals and private industry.
Naval Postgraduate School (NPS)     
The NPS Acquisition Research Program provides leadership in innovation, creative problem solving and an on-going dialogue, contributing to the evolution of Department of Defense acquisition strategies. NPS also publishes the The International Journal of Defense Acquisition Management (IJDAM) in conjunction with the Cranfield University College of Management of Technology in the UK.
Senior Service College Fellowship (SSCF)     
The SSCF is a partnership program with DAU that develops civilian acquisition leaders in preparation for roles as product and project managers, program executive officers, and other key acquisition positions. SSCF also helps prepare participants for positions in the Senior Executive Service (SES).
The CNA Center for Naval Analyses is a Federally Funded Research and Development Center (FFRDC) for the Navy and Marine Corps. The Resource Analysis Center provides analytical services to help develop, evaluate and implement policies, practices and programs.
Institute for Defense Analyses (IDA)    
IDA is a non-profit corporation that operates several FFRDCs which support the DoD and other government agencies. The Studies and Analysis Center conducts research that assists strategic planning and policy formulation.
RAND Corporation    
The RAND Corporation is a not-for-profit organization that includes several FFRDCs that carry out research related to defense acquisition including the National Security Research Division and Project Air Force.
MITRE Corporation    
The MITRE Corporation is a not-for-profit organization chartered to work in the public interest. It includes several FFRDCs that support the US DoD and other government agencies. The MITRE Research Program supports these activities through applied research.
