New Acquisition Training Available – DAU Quarterly Update
Acquisition professionals now have more than 25 new courses, credentials and other learning resources to go beyond certification targets while earning continuous learning points.
Register for new webinars, workshops, online training (OLT) virtual instructor-led training (VILT) courses and learning activities via the Virtual Campus. Below is a showcase of some of these new assets.
Credentials
The following new credentials aim to support professionals within the program management, financial management and acquisition management areas:
- International Acquisition Security Cooperation for Program Managers (CACQ 012): Learn how to effectively plan and execute International Acquisition and Exportability activities to improve acquisition outcomes for the DoD and foreign partners.
- Military Construction (MILCON) for Financial Managers Credential (CBFM 004): Obtain cross-functional, general-purpose skills focused on the tenets and principles of MILCON and Financial Management.
- Data Analytics for DoD Acquisition Managers (CENG 002A): Learn how to manage data analytics projects by combining commercial online training provided by Johns Hopkins University and IBM with DAU-authored, DoD-specific training.

Upcoming Events and Web Series
Web events continue to provide new, timely learning opportunities for the acquisition workforce. In the coming quarter, DAU will host the annual DAU Update. Find a new web series to follow or register for one of these upcoming events. On Feb. 21-22, DAU hosts the annual Acquisition Update.
This year, the Update is “Focusing Acquisition on Warfighter Supremacy.” The Update provides a unique opportunity for senior leaders from across DoD and other agencies to share their insights, perspectives, and experiences addressing central topics to the success of Defense Acquisition.
