The program offers a special tuition rate of $250 per credit hour (for both undergraduate and graduate programs), plus complimentary textbooks and software, and no technology fees. UA Grantham further reduces out-of-pocket expenses through scholarship opportunities and credit for military training, experience and prior college coursework. The Heroes Program also provides a no-cost Prior Learning Assessment for evaluation of potential transfer credit. With this program, you can minimize both your time to graduation and the cost of getting there.

To qualify for the Heroes Program, you must:
- Meet University of Arkansas Grantham’s minimum admissions requirements
- Meet any specific program admission requirements
- Be one of the following:
- A U.S. active-duty service member, reservist, National Guard member, or other military service member;
- A U.S. honorable, general under honorable, or medically discharged veteran;
- A U.S. emergency first responder, including federal, state, and local law enforcement personnel, fire fighters, emergency medical technicians, and paramedics;
- A U.S. civil servant* at the federal, state, county, or local level;
- A U.S. licensed or certified patient care worker;
- A child (of any age) or spouse of any of the individuals listed above.

* A civil servant or public servant is a person employed in the public sector by a government department or agency. This includes federal, state, county and/or municipal employees. Not everyone working for the government is a civil servant however, generally part-time or contract employees will not qualify.
