Overview

The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) Logistics Directorate's Product Support Division Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP) Reviewer's Checklist (Version 2.0) provides information related to requirements, expectations and coordination related to Air Force LCSPs.  In addition to an excellent AFLCMC LCSP Reviewer's Checklist Did You Know (DYK) overview, users are reminded that:

  • The LCSP is the program's product support execution plan for ensuring the system's product support achieves and maintains the sustainment KPP/KSAs while controlling overall program ownership costs.
  • The LCSP is integrated across the system life cycle into strategies, planning, implementation, development, production, fielding, support, sustainment and disposal.
  • The LCSP streamlines, consolidates, and makes visible to leadership all aspects of the program's product support strategy.

The LCSP Reviewer's Checklist is structured to aid reviewers and program offices in ensuring appropriate content contained within each section of the LCSP. It includes general overall questions, specific questions for each LCSP section, and supplemental checklists for several of the twelve integrated product support (IPS) elements.
