Air Force Total Ownership Cost (AFTOC)

Last Updated : 03/24/2017

AFTOC is used to support and defend budget and Program Objective Memorandum (POM) submissions. It satisfies Congressional Operations & Sustainment reporting requirements. It is also used by the SAF/AQXA and various System Program Offices (SPOs) to support Reduction in Total Ownership Cost (R-TOC) initiatives. AFTOC provides routine, timely visibility into almost all AF costs. It includes all major Air Force systems, all appropriations and Major Commands, crosses cost-logistics data boundaries, and provides permanent archive of cost and logistics data. All of this information is present to the Internet user in easy to use format. All the formats have the convenience of saving and printing information gathered during a users session. It also:

  • Tracks asset consumption for Cost per Flying Hour (CPFH)
  • Significantly reduces the need for analysts and DoD staff to acquire, normalize, aggregate, allocate and organize financial and logistics data on Acquisition Force (AF) systems and infrastructure and to provide analytical capability
  • Provides a single source of authoritative, processed financial and logistics data organized by system or infrastructure
