Overview
With the disestablishment of Defense Acquisition Management Information Retrieval (DAMIR), the Defense Acquisition Visibility Environment (DAVE) serves as the primary Department of Defense resource for acquisition related data, reporting, analysis and related information resources. According to the website, "the Defense Acquisition Visibility Environment (DAVE) provides the Department timely access to accurate, authoritative, and reliable data to support insight, analysis, and decision-making. It provides easily accessible front-end applications, data repositories, capabilities, and a well-defined and managed data framework to offer perspective and context for the use of Acquisition data. DAVE supports the DoD Acquisition community and partners. DAVE provides an integrated foundation for the DoD Acquisition community, delivering improved security, performance, reusability, interoperability, scalability, and maintainability of Acquisition data."
