  • Department of Defense Congressional Budget Data - The DoD Congressional Budget Data Web site provides detailed search and analysis capabilities across the military departments and agencies for Research Development Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) data, as well as Procurement data, Operations and Maintenance data, and Personnel data. DTIC makes PDF and Excel spreadsheet versions of the Congressional Budget reports available shortly after they are posted on the Thomas (Library of Congress) Web site. Disclaimer: The Congressional budget data contained on this site is based on the authoritative information found on Thomas, the Library of Congress' Web site. DTIC scans the Congressional budget data and converts the information into Excel spreadsheets, which are easier to manipulate. The converted data is reviewed by DTIC to ensure accuracy; however some conversion errors can be overlooked. The scanning process is approximately 95% accurate. You can view the authoritative Congressional budget data at: http://www.thomas.gov.
     
  • Congressional Budget Queries - The DoD Congressional Budget Database Web site helps Assistant Secretary of Defense for Research & Engineering (ASDR&E) resource managers respond to changes proposed by Congress to the Research Development Testing and Evaluation (RDT&E) budget. Locate information concerning:
    • Total Authorization/Appropriation by Service/Agency and Budget Activity
    • House and Senate Armed Services Committee Conference Report
    • House and Senate Appropriation Committees Conference Reports
    • Authorization/Appropriation by Program Element 
       
  • Research and Development Descriptive Summaries (RDDS) - Research and Development Descriptive Summaries (RDDS) furnish narrative information on Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) programs and Program Elements (PE Numbers) for 2001-present within the Department of Defense. 
     
  • RDT&E Budget Data Web site - The RDT&E Budget Data Web site provides funding information on Program Objective Memorandum (POM), Budget Estimate Submission (BES), and Program Budget Review (PBR) budget cycles by Budget Activity from FY1990 to the present and by Appropriation from FY1962. Users may export results to an Excel spreadsheet. Access to this data is controlled by Distribution Statement D.
