Overview
E-Cat is a DLA Logistics Information Services web-based application designed to allow registered users the ability to query the status of cataloging requests and submit requests for catalog action.
E-Cat Provides a means for:
Inquiring the status of cataloging request - the status of cataloging requests (This link is Common Access Card or User I.D./Password enabled; if you have multiple certificates, please use your email certificate). Searches are accomplished by:
- National Item Identification Number (NIIN)
- Part Number
- DCN/PCC/DOR/ISN (includes PCCN and PLISN)
Submitting new cataloging requests - new cataloging requests (This link is Common Access Card or User I.D./Password enabled; if you have multiple certificates, please use your email certificate):
- Maintenance Input - update to existing National Stock Number (NSN)
- New NSN Request/Assignment
- Mass load (multiple requests for new NSNs and maintenance actions) capability
- Reinstate cancelled NSNs
- Cancel an NSN
- various collaboration
- does not allow for the use of the greater than (>) or less than (<) signs in any text fields
