ExtendSim (formerly Extend 7)

​ExtendSim models the behavior of any process where time or values are recalculated at each periodic step. The package includes a Value library of components for performing continuous modeling tasks. For custom applications, the internal development environment allows you to create fully integrated, custom components to fit any need. Use ExtendSim to research operational performance. It features a message-based discrete event architecture and capabilities and can track and analyze the behavior of physical or logical entities when events cause them to change state or move through a system. It is an integral part of Lean, Six Sigma, Risk and Throughput Analysis, and Capacity Planning projects. It can also do discrete event and discrete rate modeling and is well-suited to manufacturers integrating entities with flows in a mixed-mode environment, but is flexible enough to accommodate any industry that operates in a high-speed or high-volume arena.
