Logistics Information Warehouse (LIW)

The U.S. Army’s Logistics Information Warehouse (LIW) is intended to serve as the single authoritative source whereby leaders can maintain situational awareness of equipment across the Army, as well as to: 

• facilitate optimization of materiel management 
• serve as authoritative data repository for materiel data 
• provide a common location for materiel stake-holders to access information 
• establish and maintain total asset visibility worldwide
