​The Operating and Support Cost-Estimating Guide, published September 2020, focuses on analytic methods and data for O&S cost estimates and analyses for a wide variety of DoD weapon systems. The guide provides an overview of the uses of O&S cost estimates, best practices for preparing, presenting, and documenting O&S cost estimates, and provides the standard OSD O&S cost element structure for use in CSDR sustainment reporting.
