Visual SESAME (Selected Essential-Item Stock for Availability Method) is a multi-echelon, multi-indenture inventory model. It determines the optimal range and depth of spares and repair parts at all locations in the support structure in order to meet a weapon system readiness target or budget constraint. The use of Visual SESAME is mandated by the Department of the Army (AR 700-18) for Initial Provisioning Requirements Determination. To obtain a copy of the Visual SESAME software, CCDC requires that all individuals complete a day and a half training course on the software.
To request the Visual SESAME software or inquire about upcoming training sessions, please contact email@example.com.
