Today’s blog post isn’t about logistics, product support or weapon system sustainment. It’s about living out the Air Force Core Values of “Integrity First”, “Service Before Self” and “Excellence in all We Do" on a daily basis. It’s about making a difference. It’s about positively impacting the lives of those around you. It’s about both mission and people. It's about confident, competent, contagiously enthusiastic leadership. Perhaps most of all, its about living life well.
Permit me to share a link to a US Air Force news story from the 52d Fighter Wing Public Affairs Office about an 86-year young former colleague entitled “Big Man: The Story of George Price". After reading the article, encourage you to also take a few minutes to watch the embedded video "Big Man-Honoring a Local Legend." You’ll come away with a glimpse of what 65 years of "Service Before Self" looks like in the real world.
